Yes Hotels Poster Competition 2010

The hunt is on to find a piece of original artwork suitable for the Yes Hotels 2010 poster and post card promotion.

Entries should be about A3 size and can use any media that can be scanned and printed onto paper and card. They should include the Yes Hotels Logo This is available to download from this site.

The theme is to promote Blackpool as a fun family resort and tell people about the quality and value for money the resort offers. How you portray this message is up to you. Why not take a look at the old railway company posters from the 1920s and 30s as a starting point.

Short listed entries will be shown at Yes Hotels Networking event on Wednesday 24th March from 11am to 6m at the Canasta Hotel, 288 The Promenade.

Prizes will include vouchers for art products and the winner could find their work on 1000s of posters and postcards set all over the country. The media will be invited to attend the event.

Completed entries can be taken to The Warehouse, Cross St, Blackpool and should be clearly marked with you name and contact details.

Accommodation providers can join today for £29.95 membership ( £7.50 per quarter by SO) plus assessment. (Note:- Assessment is not required if another approved body like VisitBritain or the AA accreditation has been valid at anytime during the same calendar year)

The accommodation for Yes Hotel membership must pass an assessment by an experienced former professional hotelier if they have no current approval from another accreditation service. This costs only £29.95 and if your hotel is clean, comfortable and friendly and meets all the appropriate legislation there is no reason why it should not be accepted!
